The playful exhibition detailing the history of the town from its foundation by Ottokar II of Bohemia to the present.
The exhibition, located across two galleries, introduces you to both the old and modern history of the town. You will encounter interesting artefacts and interactive elements that will guide you step-by-step through Polička’s past. Try the job of a town locator (a person who was tasked to establish a town) and build your own settlement; dress in gothic robes, try on a part of a plate armour or hold a sword. Become a sharpshooter or barter at the town market. Immerse yourself in our rich history!

This exhibition is available to individuals and groups all year round during the opening times.
Group guided tours must be booked in advance.
