- The Municipal Museum and Gallery’s Library collection consists of publications of regional character, old prints and specialised literature. Publications and periodicals are available to public after prior arrangement and in person only.
- New library system, Tritius, has been in place since October, 2025. This system is a successor of Clavius, the most widespread library system in the Czech and Slovak Republic.

- Interested parties in research work must contact the Librarian, either by calling or by email, first; the details like the date of the visit and topic of their research will be discussed. The researcher will then make an order of the materials needed for their research via the on-line catalogue. Opening times of the Library are not congruent with the opening times of the Museum; it is dependent on the prior arrangement with the Librarian (usually Monday to Friday 8:00 – 16:00).
- The researcher is bound by the Library and Study Regulations.
